Tailoring Industrial Solar Energy Solutions in Lehigh County Pennsylvania

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Michael Resig: We heard about Lumina through the nonprofit Solar Switch program. We have been interested in getting solar for many years, but the process of finding a good solar provider and getting a trusted quote was very difficult - until Lumina. Lumina has a team dedicated to helping you learn everything you need to know about the solar process and they keep you informed during the journey. Lumina was excellent with communicating every step and they managed all the paperwork, permits, installation, inspection, and warranty info. It was an incredibly smooth experience and it all happened very quickly. We’re excited and proud to have our home powered with solar, and we have Lumina to thank!
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Paul Chiavacci: Everyone at Lumina Solar was great to work with. Courtney was exceptional in handling our project from start to finish. The installation team was professional, thorough and detailed. We will reccomend this company to anyone thinking of going solar.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Justin Occhiogrosso: Smooth process overall from Lumina. (PECO drug their feet every step of the way, but that's another story.) Worked with a salesman named Jack. He was always professional. The install only took a few hours and was great.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Willie Hicks: Great service from initial contact with my rep. Alex to install. A few hiccups along the way but the were quickly and satisfactorily resolved.
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Dirk Leu: Good overall experience. The way the panels looked and were arranged on the roof was important to me and Lumina delivered my request. They installed more panels than other local companies were willing to do. They offered me installation within a certain time with some money back guarantee, but we're unable to deliver on that offer. There were some problems with the structure of the roof that added an extra 15% to the project cost (bundled into the cost and eligible for tax rebate). These roof problems were not identified during a recent roof replacement and fixing them was slow and costly. Also it delayed the project into the next year, delaying the tax rebate. Overall I'm happy with the result, but communication throughout the process of the roof repairs wasn't great and delays were expensive.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Rodney Nesmith: We investigated multiple solar providers. Lumina seemed like the best choice: knowledgeable staff, good value, designs that fit our needs. Now that our installation is done, we are extremely happy with it. The design was perfect for our home. And the construction was very well done. The Lumina staff were highly skilled, conscientious and courteous. They were done in two days, and the workmanship is excellent. Now, we enjoy using the Enlighten app to see how much electricity we are making. Not only does the app tell us how much electricity we are producing, we've found it useful in understanding and managing our electrical demand! We have several friends that are interested in solar energy, and we are encouraging them to consider Lumina. We are extremely happy with their work, and we think they would be too! December 2023 Update: We are now in our 7th consecutive month without having to buy a single KW of electricity from the grid! Also, two of our friends have used Lumina for their installations, and they've had the same experience. Excellent/knowledgeable sales staff, high quality installations, LOVE the Enlighten app for monitoring power production/use, and happy with the output from their systems!
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey: From the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by taxman: Great experience all around. Philip Jordan guided me through the process from start to finish. He explained everything at the start, answered all my questions, and got me set up. He kept in contact throughout the process and was very helpful. The office staff were quick to reply and answered my questions well. They handled the paperwork with speed and got everything moving faster than I expected. The inspection and installation teams were great. They worked quickly and did a great job. In fact, the state inspector told me that my rig was the only one all week that he approved, because other companies apparently don't know what they're doing. Overall, I have only good things to say about my experience. Would recommend.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Chris Stoltzfus: When I was looking to go solar I had done a few quotes and designs with different companies. Lumina came in with not only the best pricing for the work, but the best design plan for the area as well. Jack knew his stuff and had a base design already done that showed estimates based on previous sun data and satellite pictures. We were able to determine taking out some trees could improve performance and which ones could stay. We had to do some back and forth with the electric company to get started which was the biggest hassle. There was a lack of communication from electric on getting us approvals and information if the system we planned was allowed. After 5 months they told us it wasn't and that we would need to pay to have a upgraded transformer installed. They then took another month to tell us a price before we said no and we down sized to what was allowed based on the current grid. By far this was the biggest headache but was in no part Lumina Solar's fault. Once we knew what we were allowed we went back and designed a system that would work. Permits and paperwork went pretty quickly after we got electric company to sign off. Due to the weather there was a little delay in getting install started but the team that came out did fantastic work. The hardest challenge for the installers was dealing with my old house's thick walls, (18inches plus a little empty space before another wall) but after determining what was needed they came back and managed to get the hole drilled. They were able to answer any questions I had along the way for the project and provided insight into other questions I had as well. On the roof install side of things, things went smoothly. A couple of the snow guards got broken but they ordered in new ones and replaced them without a hassle. The full Lumina team worked very well together and were always professional. I have recommended them to others and would do so again. Can't wait to see just how well the system works.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Richard Zinn: We were blown away with the customer service we received with Lumina Solar. Matt D. from the company helped us through the entire process, answered any questions we may have had, and provided us with peace of mind when dealing with a complex investment. The installation team were clean, considerate, kind, and quick for the installation of the panels. All of the communication with Lumina was easy and we received quick responses.
